This is a TEAM entry into the Rogaine game at the 25 Years of Geocaching NZ Block Party event. This secures your entry into the game. If spots are available on the day, you may enter in person before the start of the game at 12pm.
Please only purchase ONE ticket per team. Penalties may apply if you get more than one ticket for your team as this prevents another team from entering.
A prominent feature of the Saturday Programme, the Rogaine game will require teams to visit a number of locations around Rotorua, take specific photos, and return to the venue within a set time. It will be up to the teams to plan their route and which locations they will attempt, with varying points scored for each location. This game will be limited to the first 20 teams to enter.
Each team will be given a list of locations at the start time of 12pm, along with a prop that they will need to include in all location photos in order to score points for each location. Teams must return to the Block Party venue by the end time at 4pm.
Rules of the game:
1. Teams can include up to one vehicle load, and all team members must travel and visit locations together
2. Points will only be scored for locations by submitting the required photo including team members and the prop as specified for each location
3. Traffic rules must be obeyed at all times - any reports of speeding or driving dangerously will result in disqualification
4. Teams must be present at the start time, and return to the venue by the finish time, along with their designated prop
5. Late return (up to 15 minutes) will incure a penalty of 2 points per minute
6. Validity of photos will be determined by the organisers
7. In case of a draw, the winner will be determined by the earliest return time
