Geocoins.nz proudly supports community initiatives including the 25 Years of Geocaching NZ Block Party event in Rotorua, and the upcoming Top of the South Cachefest 2026 Mega Event in Nelson!
Out of office notice: geocoins.nz will be attending the Top of the South Cachefest 2026 in Nelson over Labour Weekend, so any orders placed between 20th and 28th October will be processed as soon as possible on our return. If you're going to the Top of the South mega, we can't wait to see you there - be sure to come and say hi!
This pathtag design commemorates the hiding of GC45, the very first geocache hidden outside of the USA - a red bucket with white lid, hidden about 10km south of Rotorua, New Zealand, 25 years ago.
This is one of 3 official pathtags that were included in supporter packs at the 25 Years of Geocaching NZ Block Party event, held over the weekend of 3rd and 4th May, 2025, in Rotorua.
This 3 pack of collectible pathtags enables you to add one to your collection and take the others to pathtag swap events, where this tag is sure to be in high demand!
