Creating metal stamped or die cast geocoins is an expensive process - trust me, we know! So here at geocoins.nz we have come up with a way for you to have your very own custom trackable geocoins for a fraction of the cost.
No set up costs, just choose the number of coins you want (starting at 5) and send us the design - we do all the rest.
The coins are 50mm in size (up to 44mm diameter design) and 3mm thick. Each coin will use the same custom design that you supply. If you want multiple designs on different coins, then please order these as separate items and quantities.
Each coin is individually trackable on geocaching.com with its own unique tracking number and belongs to the "Geocoins.nz Wooden Geocoin" series with custom wooden coin icon.

Please use our custom design templates for front and back, ensuring that you don't make your design too finely detailed (nothing smaller than about 0.5mm recommended) - just remember big and bold is best! Design must be black and white only (not grayscale), and ideally a 1000 pixel square jpeg. The same design will be used for the quantity of coins specified and will be engraved onto the coin exactly as you provide it to us.
The front of your coin can accomodate a circular design up to 44mm in diameter. The back of your coin, if you choose to apply a custom design, can also accomodate a circular design up to 44mm in diameter, 28mm tall, with the lower section reserved for the tracking code and "TRACK AT GEOCACHING.COM" text.
You can download our design templates (front and back) and either use your favourite drawing program on your computer, or print them out, draw your design (using nice thick lines) and then take a photo of it and send it to us. If you send us a photo of your design, make sure it's in good lighting with lots of contrast, and taken as straight on as possible.
You can email your design to ftf2kltd@gmail.com and include your invoice number in the email subject line. We will keep your design on file in case you wish to have more of the same coin produced in the future.
Because we will need to receive your custom design from you and then produce the coins to your order, you can expect it to take a little longer than our usual shipping turn-around for standard in-stock items. We expect to produce and ship your coins out to you within a week of your order if there are no delays with your custom design artwork.
Please note that because these coins are made of wood, and wood is a natural organic material, there may be slight natural imperfections and grain visible on the coin. This is to be expected when using a natural material. However, we do our best to select only wood coins that meet our high quality standards.
