Celebrate the legend!
As we celebrate 25 years of geocaching in 2025, we have had fun looking back at some of the highlights of the first 25 years. One of the older legends in the geocaching community was a rumour about the hamsters that powered the servers at Geocaching HQ. As geocaching has grown through the years, we may have found more consistent power sources, but we are still grateful for those that may have kept the wheels turning in those early days.
To celebrate these early sources of power, we have the 2025 Hamster Geocoin! Signal's cute friend is ready to spin around the wheel on the coin, bringing power to geocachers everywhere!
